Eligibility

To be eligible for a school-based traineeship, you will be:

  • An Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, New Zealand Citizen, or eligible Visa holder
  • Currently in year 10 or 11
  • Not currently enrolled in a VETis funded qualification

    You’ll graduate with a nationally recognised qualification and real workplace experience. Many trainees are offered ongoing work or use the qualification to continue their career.

  • Who will support me during the program?

    You’ll be supported by your school, your workplace supervisor, and your training organisation. Australian Vocational Academy will be your main contact throughout your course and deliver the qualification program to you. Australian Vocational Academy is a Registered Training Organisation (Similar to a TAFE)
