Introduction to Community Pharmacy

Overview
The Introduction to Community Pharmacy course is an ideal starting point for people with no pharmacy experience who want to work in community pharmacy. In about 3 hours of self-paced online learning, it covers what pharmacy employers expect new staff to understand. Topics include the role of community pharmacy, the pharmacy team, medicine schedules, customer service, and privacy and safety responsibilities. The final topic prepares learners to answer common pharmacy interview questions with confidence. This is a non-accredited short course and does not lead to a nationally recognised qualification. It is a practical first step towards accredited training such as our S2/S3 course or a Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy.
