National Training Services
How do I know if I’m eligible?
Eligibility for each course can differ slightly, select from the below options to determine if you are eligible for current funding schemes
Certificate III Guarantee (C3G)
The Certificate 3 Guarantee provides Queenslanders with access to Government subsidised training places, up to and including their first Certificate III level qualification in priority training areas.
Eligibility
- Not hold a Certificate III or higher level qualification (This does not include qualifications undertaken while at secondary school),
- be 15 years of age or older,
- have finished secondary school or left school, and
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen permanently residing in Queensland.

Higher Level Skills
The Higher Level Skills program provides eligible Queenslanders with the opportunity to obtain a Certificate IV or higher level qualification, subsidised by the State Government.
Eligibility
- Not hold a Certificate IV or higher level qualification (This does not include qualifications undertaken while at secondary school),
- be 15 years of age or older
- have finished secondary school or left school, and
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen permanently residing in Queensland.

User Choice Traineeships
The User Choice program subsidises a range of priority qualifications to be undertaken as workplace traineeships. This funding is available for eligible individuals registered into a traineeship contract.
Eligibility
- Undertaking a Registered Traineeship through an employer
- be 15 years of age or older
- have finished secondary school or left school, and
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen permanently residing in Queensland

School Based Traineeships
School Based Traineeships support young people undertaking year 10, 11 and 12 to participate in paid employment and structured training leading to a Nationally Recognised Qualification.
Eligibility
- be 15 years of age or older
- be in year 10, 11 or 12
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen permanently residing in Queensland

Additional Information
The User Choice traineeship fee is $1.60 per nominal hour resulting in mandatory contribution fees set by the Queensland Government as follows.
The balance of this amount to the fee listed above is the employer Administration and facilities fee for engaging the services of our College. BSB30120 (Food) $768, BSB302120 (Retail) $736, BSB30120 (Office) $728, SIR30216 (Retail) $672, SIR30216 (General) $664, SIR30116 $792. Concession rate is 40% of the above listed amount and the Administration and facilities fee.
If a student withdraws from training, fees from the mandatory contribution component will be refunded for units of competency where the student has not commenced training on a pro rata basis (where course fees have been paid).
The Administration and facilities fee component is not refundable after enrolment into the course unless required under Australian consumer law.
