- 15 hours of practical work placement in a community pharmacy

Course Options
Option 1: Standard Package – $179
This option is ideal for students who already have a relationship with a local pharmacy or are confident approaching pharmacies themselves.
You will:
- Complete the online learning
- Organise your own pharmacy placement
- Complete the required 15 hours of workplace experience
Option 2: Premium Package – $449
Our Premium Package is designed for students who would like assistance securing a pharmacy placement.
This package includes:
- Full access to the S2/S3 course
- Placement support from our team
- One workplace placement organised and facilitated by our College
How the Premium Package Works
- Purchase the Premium Package.
- Our team begins working to secure a suitable pharmacy placement for you.
- Once your placement has been confirmed, your enrolment is processed.
- You receive access to our online course portal and can begin your training.
- Complete your online learning and workplace placement requirements.
- The supervising Pharmacist completes a supervisor report log in your course portal at the end of your placement
This approach helps ensure your placement arrangements are in place before you begin the practical component of the course.

Not necessarily. The purpose of the placement is to provide workplace experience and exposure to the pharmacy environment.
While some students are offered employment following placement, employment is not guaranteed and remains entirely at the discretion of the host pharmacy.
Is the placement paid?
No. The 15-hour placement is a structured work experience activity designed to help students develop practical skills and industry exposure.
What happens if you can’t find me a placement?
The Premium Package includes placement support from our team. While we work hard to secure placements for students, availability can vary depending on location and pharmacy capacity.
If we are unable to secure a placement, our team will discuss the available options and a refund will be available.
Can I find my own placement instead?
Yes. Students are welcome to organise their own placement with a local pharmacy. If you already have a pharmacy willing to host you, the Standard Package may be the most suitable option. You can download and print the work placement agreement below to have completed by your host.
