Employers are supported with:
- External nationally recognised training for each school based trainee
- No training fees. The Western Australian Government pays 100% of the training fees to our College.
- Ability to roster junior staff one week day per week, in consultation with the trainees school
- State based business incentive of up to $2125 paid to the business per eligible trainee
- AVA’s free recruitment service. We will advertise your vacancies across our network of schools and bring potential candidates to you for interview.
School Based Trainees are:
- 15 years of age or older
- Currently attending school and undertaking 7.5+ hours per week of paid work in your business
- Undertaking a nationally recognised qualification with our College that aligns with your workplace
- Supported with training from our College and free federally funded mentoring supports where required
